ArcelorMittal is evolving into a portfolio of regionally protected steel franchises, leveraging local production and integrated mining to benefit from trade policy shifts. MT's earnings quality has structurally improved, with higher EBITDA per tonne, robust operational leverage in Europe, and significant contributions from India and Liberia expansions. Share buybacks, discounted valuation metrics, and off-balance-sheet growth (notably AM/NS India) position MT for per-share earnings growth even without a global steel boom.

MT stock has gained 24.8% in the past three months on expanded steel capacity and specialized products, while stronger performance, tariffs and demand support growth.
