Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF, FRA:M2Z), the computer vision company, has launched a platform designed to move its driver-monitoring technology into robots, marking a significant expansion beyond its automotive roots. The Canberra-based group said its Physical AI Platform would give the next generation of humanoid robots the situational awareness to work safely alongside people in factories, hospitals, warehouses and homes.

Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF, FRA:M2Z), the computer vision company best known for driver monitoring systems, has secured a development contract in factory robotics that takes its technology beyond the vehicle cabin. The company said the customer was a global industrial technology group focused on factory automation and human-robot interaction, but did not name it.

Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF, FRA:M2Z) revealed it has swung to profitability in the second half of its financial year as automotive production volumes surged to record levels and higher-margin royalty revenue accelerated. Adjusted EBITDA for the six months to June is expected at US$10.7 million to US$11.7 million, reversing a US$13.7 million first-half loss.
