President and CEO Tom Arseneault, Loeffler will serve as the supply chain leader across the organization. He will also serve as a member of the BAE Systems, Inc. senior leadership team. Loeffler will lead the company's supply chain organization, driving strategy, execution and program delivery in support of all Inc. busin.

BAE Systems remains a Buy, supported by robust H1 2026 results, upgraded guidance, and multi-domain growth engines across Europe and the US. Order backlog hit a record £84 billion, with European and MBDA demand driving a multi-year growth runway and strong visibility toward £45 billion in revenues. Raised 2026 guidance: sales growth 8–10%, EBIT 10–12%, EPS 11–13%, and free cash flow above £2.0 billion, though some cash flow upside is timing-related.

BAE Systems remains a high-quality defense contractor but trades at an excessive 26-29x P/E, well above historical norms. Despite strong H1-26 results, rising backlog, and 8-12% operating profit growth guidance, FCF and OCF are declining while CapEx and intangibles rise. Cash conversion is weakening; earnings quality is questioned as EPS grows but FCF drops 17% and OCF falls 9% since 2023.
